Boxborough: Fall prevention conference

Falls are the leading cause of serious injury for people over 65. Slipping and tripping are not normal parts of aging; simple steps and information can help prevent these dangerous accidents. Oct. 30, Emerson Hospital will sponsor free health screenings and workshops designed to help us all lead safer, healthier lives. The event, which includes complimentary lunch, will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 242 Adams Place in Boxborough. Seating is limited and registration is required.
