The Buxton Branch of the American Begonia Society and the New England Chapter of the Gesneriad Society will showcase their finest flowers Sept. 22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sept. 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Tower Hill Botanic Garden, 11 French Dr., Boylston, during a special show and sale. This annual show offers the opportunity to discover the diversity of these two popular houseplants. In connection with this combined show, there will be a plant sale, where visitors may purchase rare begonias and gesneriads to start their own collection, with literature on how best to grow them and propagate them, as well as plenty of experts to ask questions of.  Admission to the event is included with the price of admission to Tower Hill: $12 adults, $9 seniors (65+), $7 youth (age 6-18), free for children under 6 and members of Tower Hill.
