Clinton: Russian Vodka Gone Global lecture

April 20, at 3 p.m., a lecture on Russian Vodka Gone Global will be held at the Museum of Russian Icons, 203 Union St., Clinton. The lecture with Patricia Herlihy, Professor Emerita of History, Brown University, will address why North America has embraced this fascinating and versatile drink, how vodka has overtaken America's own native drink, bourbon, and why it has gone global, despite being blamed for Russia's soaring death rates.
