Concord: Diabetes prevention, management presentations

In recognition of November as National Diabetes Awareness Month, Emerson Hospital is sponsoring free presentations to assist with type 2 diabetes prevention and self-management 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the conference room of the Integrative Health & Wellness Center, 310 Baker Avenue Extension in Concord. Carrie Renaud, program director of Emerson’s Center for Wound Care, will present “Skin Care as We Age: Basic Skin and Foot Care” and Diabetes educator Cheryl Laundry, RN, BS, CDE will present “Diabetes Prevention and Management with Healthy Lifestyle.” For more information, call Emerson Hospital at 978-287-8590.
