Holliston: Walk Against Breast Cancer

At 1:30 p.m., nearly 500 walkers will once again hit the pavement in Holliston for the 9th Annual Walk Against Breast Cancer to raise awareness about breast cancer and raise money for Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s Breast Cancer Fund. Boston’s own Dana-Farber is the nation’s 5th ranked U.S. cancer hospital and is a world leader in cancer research initiatives. The 5-mile walk will begin at the Congregational Church Green, 725 Washington St., Holliston. It is geared toward walkers of all ages and abilities. The Walk will begin with a special recognition for breast cancer survivors. There will also be a raffle, with a Grand Prize of two round-trip airline tickets to anywhere in the continental U.S. For more information, visit www.hollistonwalks.org.
