Hopkinton: Golden Pond talk for veterans, surviving spouses

Oct. 27, from 9 to 11 a.m., Golden Pond Assisted Living will present a talk for veterans and their surviving spouses. Schedule: complimentary breakfast at 9 a.m., presentation by Jim Merchant of Veterans Financial, Inc. at 9:30 a.m., and a Q&A session at 10:30 a.m. Are you a veteran or surviving spouse of a veteran who served at least one day during a period of war?
