Hudson: Birds of Prey program at HPL

July 13, 2013

Free

July 13, at 7 p.m., Hudson Public Library, 3 Washington St., will present a Birds of Prey program by Jim Parks of Wingmasters. Birds of prey are also known as raptors and include among their numbers eagles, hawks, falcons, and owls. This presentation, which incorporates five live birds, gives an overview of these different categories. The program is designed to explain predation, the birds’ place at the top of the food web, their different hunting adaptations, and their status in a rapidly changing world. Contact Nicole Kramer at 978-568-9644 or nkramer@cwmars.org for more information.
