Hudson: Historical Society hosts Michael Walling

Michael Walling, Hudson resident and author of four books primarily on Naval history, will speak on his first book, “Bloodstained Sea: The U.S. Coast Guard in the Battle of the Atlantic 1941-1944,” at the Hudson Historical Society meeting, to be held Jan. 29, at 7:30 p.m., at First Federated Church Hall, 200 Central St. The book won the Naval Literature Award from the U.S. Navy. The meeting is open to the public and refreshments will follow.
