Hudson: Hudson SEPAC hosts dyslexia workshop

Are you the parent of a child who is struggling with reading? Are you a professional interested in learning about common characteristics of struggling readers and what you can do to help? If so, join Hudson SEPAC Nov. 13, from 7 – 9 p.m., for “Dyslexia: Definition and Intervention,” an informative presentation exploring the signs and symptoms, as well as effective interventions, for reading disabilities.

The event takes place at Hudson High School, 69 Brigham St., and audience members will also have a chance to ask questions following the workshop.

The presenter is Dr. Pamela Hook, Professor Emerita, Communications Sciences and Disorders Program, MGH Institute of Health Professions and past President of the Massachusetts Branch of the International Dyslexia Association (MABIDA).
