Hudson: Scouting for Food Drive

The town of Hudson will hold its annual Scouting for Food Drive Nov. 10. The Hudson Scouts of the Troops 2, 35, 77, Venture Crew 21 and the Hudson Girls Scouts will be out picking up donated food left out for the drive. The bags should be outside the house by 9 a.m. The weekend before the drive, the local Cub Scouts and Girls Scouts will be delivering the scouting for food bags to residents of Hudson. If you do not receive a food bag, you may use any bag to donate food. Please mark the bag “Food Drive” and leave it in a location visible from the road. Scouts will not enter a building to pick up food. ?The Hudson Food Pantry is in need of the following items: canned soups, canned meats, canned vegetables, canned pasta, peanut butter, jelly, rice, stew, baked beans, Jell-O products, canned fruit, baby food, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, paper products, and personal care products.? The food pantry is unable to accept homemade food and expired foods.
