Jan. 4, starting at 7 p.m., Laramie, Wyoming and the tragic beating and murder of Matthew Shepard will be portrayed on the stage of the Hudson High School auditorium, 69 Brigham St. Composed of quotes from real people closest to a real American tragedy, The Laramie Project brings forward the truth about acceptance and tolerance and how as a community we need to love each other no matter what the differences. The Laramie Project presents a raw, profound, and moving view of a turning point in the LGBTQ civil rights movement. Tickets are $5 per person. Parents should note that the play does deal with sensitive content and may not be appropriate for all ages.
