Did you know that disease, diet and even stress can negatively impact your digestive system? Spend an informative evening with Philip Cohen, MD, board-certified general surgeon on staff at Marlborough Hospital and UMass Memorial Medical Center, and learn about acid reflux disease (GERD); gastrointestinal disorders such as gallstones and hiatal hernias; and the different treatment options now available. The program, called “Burping. Belching. Bloating. When Should I be Concerned?” takes place Dec. 5, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., in the Leahy Conference Room at Marlborough Hospital, 157 Union St. The class is free, but reservations are required. Seating is limited. Light refreshments will be served. Please call 508-486-5810 or email MHreflections@umassmemorial.org for more information or to reserve your space.
