Marlborough: American Red Cross blood drive

An American Red Cross blood drive will be held in Marlborough Sept. 12, from 2:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Masonic Hall, 8 Newton St. Appointments are preferred, but walk-in donors are also welcome. The Red Cross is hoping to collect at least 35 life-savings pints of blood at this drive. All donors will receive a free Red Sox T-shirt and register for a chance to win Red Sox tickets. If you are in good health, weigh 110 pounds or more, and have not given blood in the past 56 days you may try to donate.  The American Red Cross now requires a positive ID before donating.  You must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with signed parental consent form).
