Marlborough: Annual “Home for the Holidays” celebration in Marlborough

Marlborough – The city of Marlborough will celebrate its annual “Home for the Holidays” Friday, Dec. 6, on Union Common at the intersection of routes 20 (Main Street) 85 from 6 to 8:15 p.m.

Mayor Arthur Vigeant will arrive with Santa Claus via Fire Truck and open the event with the tree lighting accompanied by the Marlborough High School Mixed Chorus. The Marlborough High School String Ensemble and Jazz Band will each perform at the First Congregational Church, 37 High St., during the event. Activities on the common will include Santa Claus, live farm animals, music, free balloons, popcorn, and hot chocolate.
