Marlborough: Connecting Point Church hosts gardening day

Connecting Point Church will host a gardening day Aug. 26 at Whitcomb Middle School in Marlborough. The goal is to beautify the courtyard of the school by mulching trees, raking, and cleaning, trimming hedges and planting flowers among other things. The church welcomes those with a green thumb, or just an interest to serve, to come and help out. The event starts at 10 a.m. at the Whitcomb Middle School, 25 Union St. Please bring work gloves, sunscreen, work clothes, and any yard equipment to share.
