Marlborough Job Fair to benefit teens, businesses

Marlborough – The Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest will host the 10th Annual Teen Job Fair at the Pleasant Street Clubhouse, 169 Pleasant St. in Marlborough, Thursday, April 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The event will feature local companies accepting applications to fill both full- and part-time positions. This is an opportunity for young adults ages 16 and up looking for summer, weekend or after-school employment to network with local businesses. The job fair will also benefit local companies interested in filling part-time or full-time positions with capable young men and women from the community. 30 to 35 slots are available for businesses looking to hire this year.
Last year, the Teen Job Fair attracted almost 250 young adults ages 16 through 21 from Marlborough, Hudson, Southborough, Northborough, Framingham, Sudbury and surrounding communities hoping to fill open positions for a diverse group of companies. Businesses that participated last year include: local financial institutions; Hannaford Supermarket; 1-800-Got-Junk?; Banana Republic; Aeropostale; Kumon; Starbucks; Dairy Queen; and many more. Participants can also interview for positions at the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest as counselors for summer programs.
