Join the Friends of the Marlborough Public Library Oct. 17, at 7 p.m., in the Bigelow Auditorium of the Marlborough Public Library as Dr. Gary Hylander brings his enthusiastic, interactive approach to history with an engaging presentation on Eleanor Roosevelt. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Eleanor Roosevelt. Her life was a long and complex process of self-discovery. Dr. Hylander, Ph.D., is a professor of History at Stonehill College, and a frequent lecturer at library forums, historical societies, senior centers, and professional organizations. Free and open to the public. Marlborough Public Library is located at 35 West Main St.
