Marlborough: Local faerie garden expert to entertain at Marlborough Garden Club meeting

Marlborough – The Colonial Garden Club of Marlborough will host Betsy Williams, author, florist, teacher, lecturer and storyteller Wednesday, March 12, at the Jaworek Elementary School, 444 Hosmer St. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and is open to the public. Williams will present “Are there faeries in the bottom of YOUR garden?” She will entertain the audience with the history of faeries, their dwellings, and their plantings; and create a mini table-top faerie garden for one lucky winner to take home. Williams” books, including, “Are There Faeries in the Bottom of Your Garden” and her most recent, “Growing Up Green with Faeries,” will be available for purchase at the meeting.
