Marlborough: Marlborough Chamber announces 40th annual Golf Open

Marlborough – The Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce (MRCC), the 495 Chamber of Choice, will be celebrating its 40th annual Premier Golf Open. This “Florida Scramble” golf tournament will take place Tuesday, June 3, at the Marlborough Country Club, 200 Concord Road. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary, the MRCC is working with the Boys and Girls Clubs of MetroWest to help send 40 kids to summer camp.

This year will feature a continental breakfast supplied by Main Street Café and Dunkin Donuts, chair massages by Body Mind and Spine and a barbecue luncheon served on the course from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

The hole-in-one contest will feature two cars: a 24-month lease on a 2014 Ford Fusion donated by Wayside Ford on the 12th hole and a 2014 Nissan Altima donated by Marlborough Nissan on the 18th hole.

Social hour will begin at 2:30 p.m. followed by cheese and fruit trays and an ice cream sundae bar. There will be also be raffles, an auction, networking and prizes.
