North Grafton: Harvest Home Family Farm Festival

November 3, 2013

| $5

North Grafton – The Community Harvest Project (CHP) will be hosting a Harvest Home Family Farm Festival Sunday, Nov. 3 from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Community Barn, 37 Wheeler Rd. The festival is an annual community fundraiser filled with activities that are fun for all ages, ranging from hay rides to an interactive display of farm equipment to its extraordinary apple cannon and pumpkin catapults. There will also be delicious homemade soups and baked goods made in CHP's own kitchen. Admission is $5 per person; under 12 free with a $20 family cap.

This year there will be a whole new way to enjoy the event: a 5K dash, held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. that will allow families to engage in a healthy activity together, while enjoying the Grafton Land Trust trails.

This event is intended to bring the community together to the farm, celebrate the harvest, raise awareness of CHP's work, and raise funds to support its operations, enabling it to bring thousands of volunteers together each year to grow hundreds of thousands of pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables for hunger relief in Worcester County.
