Northborough: American Red Cross blood drive

An American Red Cross blood drive will be held Oct. 25, from 1 to 7 p.m., at the Church of the Nativity, 45 Howard St., Northborough. This drive is being sponsored by the Northborough Rotary Club, and is open to the public and residents from all surrounding towns are invited to participate.  Appointments are preferred, but walk-in donors are also welcome.  If you are in good health, weigh 110 pounds or more, and have not given blood in the past 56 days you may try to donate.  The American Red Cross now requires a positive ID before donating. You must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with signed parental consent form). all 1-800-REDCROSS or visit www.redcrossblood.org to schedule an appointment to donate.
