Northborough: Electronics & Appliance Recycling fund raiser

T-Hawks girls ice hockey will be holding an Electronics & Appliance Recycling fund raiser Oct. 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine, at Algonquin Regional High School, 79 Bartlett St., Northborough.

Items that will be accepted and the accompanying fee:

$2 per item or $10 per shoebox of small items – iPods and accessories, computer mouses, cell and land phones, cords and cables, remotes, chargers, and cameras.

$10 per item, $25 for 3 items, $40 for 5 items, or $5 per item for 8 items or more – CD/DVD players, VCRs, camcorders, phone systems, small appliances, AV equipment, keyboards, lamps (no light bulbs), typewriters, vacuums, speakers, stereos, fax machines, and printers.

$20 per item, $50 for 3 items, $75 for 5 items, or $10 per item for 8 items or more – laptops, CPUs, servers, copiers/scanners/faxes, microwave ovens, dehumidifiers and humidifiers, gas or electric stoves, mini fridges/freezers, dishwashers, and TVs and monitors up to 19 inches.

$40 per item, $100 for 3 items, $150 for 5 items, or $25 per item for 8 items or more – TVs monitors over 19 inches, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, water heaters, washing machines, and dryers.

Prices will be determined on location for any electronics not listed. No hazardous waste will be accepted.
