Northborough: Girl Scouts Anniversary Celebration

March 11, 2012

The Girl Scouts of Northborough will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts! In honor of the occasion, all current and former Girl Scouts are invited with their families to the Ellsworth McAfee Park, Route 135, at 3 p.m. to join in one enormous Girl Scout Promise Circle. Also, the Girl Scouts are looking to honor the oldest Girl Scout in Northborough, so if you think you are or know who she is please contact Michele Pfannenstiel of Troop 30482 at rmpfann@charter.net. The festivities will start at 2 p.m. and include face painting, Girl Scout sing-a-longs and historical Girl Scout informative poster boards. T-shirts and patches celebrating the occasion will be for sale.
