“Basic Rights in Special Education” is a workshop that provides families with an introduction to their rights and responsibilities under the Federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA), No Child Left Behind, Section 504 and Massachusetts Special Education Law. This presentation is designed to provide basic knowledge parents and students need in order to effectively participate in the special educational decision making process.
