Shrewsbury: 9th Annual “Walk Through History” Tour

October 5, 2013

| $5

The Shrewsbury Historical Society presents the 9th Annual “Walk Through History Tour” Oct. 5, from 5 – 7 p.m., at Mountain View Cemetery.

The Shrewsbury Historical Society again offers a unique, enlightening and entertaining evening. Participants will meet a few of our early townspeople, some better known than others, who once lived here. A completely new set of town notables and characters will be re-enacted and highlighted again this year.

The tours will first gather at the 1830 Schoolhouse next to the First Congregational Church, 19 Church Rd. Groups will then proceed through the Artemas Ward Memorial Entrance into the oldest and most historic part of Mountain View Cemetery for a visit into our past. Cost: $5 at 1830 Schoolhouse on night of event. Please bring a flashlight and bug repellant.
