The Friends of the Shrewsbury Library will be holding an afternoon tea Nov. 4, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the library, 609 Main St. Three courses will be served: a scone and cheese plate, a tea sandwich plate, and a desert plate. Tea Master Carol McGuiggan will discuss the history and etiquette of tea. Get your tickets today! Tickets are $8 and available at the circulation desk.
