Shrewsbury: American Red Cross blood drive

An American Red Cross blood drive will be held Aug. 30, from 1 to 6 p.m., at Price Chopper Supermarket, Route 9 and South Street, Shrewsbury.  The Red Cross mobile bus will be parked in Price Chopper’s parking lot.  This drive is open to the public and residents from all surrounding towns are invited to participate.  Appointments are preferred, but walk-in donors are also welcome.  The Red Cross is hoping to collect at least 25 life-savings pints of blood at this drive. Donors will receive a coupon good for a free 57.6 oz. container of any variety Turkey Hill Sunbrewed Iced Tea. Donors can also register for a chance to win Red Sox tickets.
