Shrewsbury: American Red Cross blood drive

An American Red Cross blood drive will be held at the Shrewsbury Senior Center, 98 Maple Ave., Jan. 24, from 2 to 8 p.m. This drive is open to the public and residents from al surrounding towns are invited to participate. Appointments are preferred, but walk-in donors are also welcome.  The Red Cross is hoping to collect at least 45 life-savings pints of blood at this drive. All donors will receive a coupon good for a free pound of Dunkin Donuts coffee. If you are in good health, weigh 110 pounds or more, and have not given blood in the past 56 days you may try to donate. The American Red Cross now requires a positive ID before donating.  You must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with signed parental consent form).
