Shrewsbury: CANCELED/Archaeology of Jerusalem at Library

PLEASE NOTE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED. October is Archaeology Month in Massachusetts, and this year the Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St., is offering an enlightening talk about the archaeology of Jerusalem at the time of Christ. The program will be held Oct. 14, at 2 p.m. Israeli archaeologist Katharina Galor will speak about the archaeological data from various locations in Jerusalem that help us better understand First Century Judaism and the context of New Testament writings about Jesus. She will illustrate her talk with projected images taken at the various sites discussed. This event is free and open to all interested.
