As part of Massachusetts Archaeology Month, Dr. Benjamin Alberti, of the faculty at Framingham State University, will be the guest speaker at the Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St., Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. The event is free to all interested.

The topic of his talk is ceramics from northwest Argentina, where Dr. Alberti has participated in archaeological digs in recent years. With wide experience in both archaeology and cultural anthropology, he brings a special wealth of knowledge of South American history and culture.

Dr. Alberti has taught in his native Argentina and has been associated with Framingham State University for the last decade. He will illustrate his talk with pertinent artifacts and images.
