February 21, 2013

| Free

It's time to start thinking about your garden, and Ellen Hornig, former nursery owner, is here to help you plan this year's flower garden Feb. 21, at 7 p.m., at Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St. Hornig created, owned, and operated Seneca Hill Perennials in Oswego, New York, for many years. Having recently moved to Shrewsbury, she's ready to instruct and advise you on what, how, and when to plant. In addition, she has graciously offered to give four free, onsite consultations; lucky recipients of this generosity will be chosen by lottery from among all who register for the event. Depending on expressed needs, Hornig is willing to hold additional sessions throughout the spring months. Please register online for this event at the Shrewsbury Public Library's calendar page.
