Shrewsbury: Public hearing on Shrewsbury library renovation

Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Library Building Committee will hold a public hearing Thursday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m. at Shrewsbury Town Hall, 100 Maple Ave., to receive commentary on the proposed renovation of expansion plans for the Shrewsbury Public Library. Architects Lamoureux and Pagano, Inc., have been working with the committee to develop a reduced and modified plan for the library building. This hearing will begin with a brief overview of the proposal by the architects, followed by comments from the public. Most recent renderings and floor plans can be found on the town website, www.shrewsbury-ma.gov/egov/docs/1376060172_785003.pdf. The meeting will be shown on local cable station SGTV channel 30 and will be made available on the Shrewsbury Media Connection website, www.shrewsbury-ma.gov/smc.
