Shrewsbury: Library hosts ‘Emotions and Your Health’ presentation« Back to Events
Monday, Dec. 9, there will be a special talk on emotions and the impact they have on our physical health at all levels at Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St., starting at 7 p.m.
The speaker is Anne-Marie Campanella, MA, CFT, who, for over a decade, has worked with people of all ages with a broad range of issues. She has acquired the majority of her experience working in a state mental health facility in California where she had the opportunity to work with people who suffered from a range of physical and mental health problems as well as individuals struggling with addiction, stress and anger management issues and victims of sexual abuse.
In 2011 she became a certified Ondamed practitioner. Her journey with Ondamed started after several failed attempts to see improvements in her own symptoms of Chronic Lyme Disease. Not long after receiving Ondamed treatments, she started noticing a decrease in level of inflammation and pain.
Ondamed is a new therapeutic technique used for acute injuries and chronic dysfunctions, including pain and stress management. In combination with the patient’s own pulse biofeedback, the technique provides a non-invasive treatment that promotes relaxation and stress relief, allowing the practitioner to address other physical conditions.
The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Shrewsbury Public Library, and is free and open to all interested. Please register online at www.shrewsbury-ma.gov/library, or call 508-841-8531.
