Shrewsbury: “Lost Treasures of North America” presentation

October 23, 2013

| Free

Oct. 23, the Shrewsbury Historical Society will present “Lost Treasures of North America,” by Patricia Perry, at 7 p.m. at its 17 Church Rd. location.

The promise of treasure has lead pioneers westward, spurred pirates to take to the seas and been the cause of more than a few murders! This program shows you the top missing treasures of North America. Come seek fame and fortune. You might just learn where to dig for unclaimed riches!

Patricia Perry is a historical interpreter, a member of the National Association of Interpretation (NAI), a member of the Association for Living History, Farm and Agricultural Museums (ALHFAM), a Certified Interpretive Guide, and a Certified Host and Trainer (with NAI). She was formerly the Chairperson for the Blackstone Valley Interpreter Network.

The program is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be available. To find out more about the Shrewsbury Historical Society, visit www.shrewsburyhistoricalsociety.org.
