Dec. 1, at 7 p.m., First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury, 19 Church Rd., will host a performance by the Merrimack Valley Ringers. After an absence of two years, this outstanding and very popular handbell choir returns to Shrewsbury to celebrate the approach of winter and the yuletide, with spectacular ringing of a wide range of repertoire, including several holiday favorites! Suggested donation: $10 per adult and $5 per child and student. *Please note: the potluck originally planned to precede the concert has been cancelled.
