Do you remember the World War II era? Do you remember “blackouts,” victory gardens, rationing of food, gas, rubber, silk stockings and much more? Nov. 20, at 1 p.m., Dick Partridge will verbalize these remembrances at Shrewsbury Senior Center, 98 Maple Ave., as he sprinkles in original recordings of some of the biggest hits of each year – the music that everyone will remember from “way back then.” Come with a friend, or come and meet a new friend, and reminisce about the way it was on the home front during World War II. Refreshments will be served.
