Shrewsbury: Shrewsbury Woman's Club hosts Irish Celtic music with Myra MacLeod

Myra MacLeodShrewsbury – Friday, March 7, the Shrewsbury Woman's Club will meet Friday, March 7, at 12 p.m., in Gifford Hall at First Congregational Church, 19 Church Rd., Shrewsbury. Myra MacLeod, trained in violin, viola, and fiddling, will entertain members and their guests with Irish Celtic music at 1 p.m.

MacLeod is on faculty at Apple Tree Arts of Grafton, developed the Frog Point Fiddlers for the Joy of Music Program (Performing Arts School of Worcester), teaches privately as she is a certified Suzuki violin instructor, and performs both solo and with groups at venues throughout central Massachusetts.

The Arts Corner will feature members” Irish knits. Remember to bring non-perishable food items for St. Anne's Food Pantry. Members and their guests are welcome. Call 508-845-7286 for more information.
