October 10, 2012

| Free

WIN – Work Initiative Network, a network for job seekers, meets Oct. 10, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., for “My Red Carpet Moment: How Do I Best Describe What I Do.” The program will be led by employment expert Julie Bernardin at Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St. This practical and interactive workshop will answer the questions “How do I describe my credentials to others in a way that distinguishes me from others?” and “How do I present my value to a potential employer in a way that connects with their needs?” This updated branding approach will be invaluable in interviews, cover letters and resumes. Register for the workshop online at www.eventkeeper.com/code/ekform.cfm?curOrg=SHREWSBURY&curApp=events&curID=81881&tEvt=2761481.
