Southborough: Fundraiser for Brendan Shanahan

Eighteen-month-old Brendan Shanahan, son of Southborough firefighter Chris Shanahan and Melinda Shanahan, is fighting leukemia. He will need to undergo three-and-a-half years of chemotherapy, after which time he will have a 90 percent chance of being cured. Join CrossFit SOBO, 12 Southville Rd., Southborough, Oct. 21 for a day of workouts to raise money to help Brendan’s family pay the mounting medical bills. Event begins at 11:30 a.m. (last workout kicks off at 4 p.m.). Cost is $15 per person. Raffles for monthly memberships, Innov-8 gear, and more will be held.
