Southborough: Library hosts author William Martin

April 18, at 7 p.m., novelist William Martin will speak on how he develops his character, Boston treasure hunter Peter Fallon, and will provide insight into “the writer's life” at the Southborough Library, 25 Main St. This event is free and open to the public. Martin, New York Times bestselling author of 10 novels, is best known for his historical fiction – tales of the lives of the great and the anonymous in American history, bringing to life legendary American locations from Cape Cod to Back Bay (Boston) and to Annapolis. Martin's novels include Harvard Yard, Citizen Washington, and most recently, The Lincoln Letter, appropriate for this 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation.
