In 1912, mill workers in Lawrence went on strike to raise awareness about a pay cut and other unfair labor practices in the garment factories of Massachusetts. At 7 p.m., learn more about this historic time when the Southborough Genealogy Club hosts Robert Forrant, Ph. D., University of Massachusetts, Lowell, professor of history, at the Southborough Library, 25 Main St. The meeting, starting at 6:45 p.m., is free and open to the public.
