Aug. 24, from 6 – 8 p.m., Bird Walks for Beginners: Nighthawk Migration will be held at Assabet River NWR, 680 Hudson Rd., Sudbury. The walk will be led by John Milhaven, an avid birdwatcher from Maynard. He has been birding in the Northeast for almost 40 years and on three continents and is a frequent visitor to the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge.
