Sudbury: Whip-poor-will walk« Back to Events
Join Sudbury Valley Trustees on an evening walk May 29, from 7:30 to 9 p.m., to hear whip-poor-wills at Memorial Forest and the Desert Natural Area. These rare birds are more likely to be heard with the light of a full moon. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the habitat and ecology of pitch pine-scrub oak barrens. Another walk will be held June 24. Limited to 15 participants. Free for SVT members, $10 for non-members. Call 978-443-5588 or visit www.sudburyvalleytrustees.org to register, for more information.
