Westborough: Chronicle correspondent to share stories from new book

September 19, 2013

| Free

Westborough – The Westborough Public Library will host Ted Reinstein, a longtime correspondent for Chronicle on WCVB-TV, who will be talking about his new book, “A New England Notebook,” Thursday, Sept. 19, at 7 p.m.

“A New England Notebook” recounts Reinstein's favorite people and stories encountered while traveling New England for Chronicle. The Norman Rockwell Museum, St. Ann's in Woonsocket, R.I., outhouse maker Georg Papp Sr., and the escape artist Alexanderia the Great are just a few of the places and people included in the book, which was selected by National Geographic Traveler as one of the best travel books of spring.

From nearly every corner of New England, Reinstein has found the offbeat, the memorable, the interesting, and the just plain quirky, all the while telling the enduringly colorful stories of New England's people and places. Copies of his book will be available for purchase and autographing.

This program is free and open to the public. The library is located at 55 W. Main St. For more information, call the library at 508-366-3050.
