Feb. 12, the Westborough Woman’s Club will present “Follow the Cannon: Clara Barton Civil War letters,” with Lynne Lydick reenacting the reading of Clara’s letters. Clara Barton is the founder of the American Red Cross and a North Oxford native. She is credited with saving many lives in the Civil War. A light luncheon will be served at 12 p.m., followed by a business meeting at 12:30 p.m. and the program at 1 p.m. All events will be held in the Congregational Church hall on West Main Street, Westborough. A guest fee can be paid at the door. Reservations may be made by contacting Kathy at 508-366-0902. Club members will be bringing their pennies for the GFWC of Massachusetts Pennies for Art scholarship program. For club information, contact Carol at 508-836-4686.
