The Rotary Club of Westborough will be presenting its second annual “Living with Diabetes (Type 2)” symposium Sept. 18, at 6:30 p.m., at the Mill Pond School, 6 Olde Hickory Path, Westborough. The event is free and open to the public. The evening will feature presentations by guest speakers, including: 1) “Prevention/Early Warning/Daily Life” by Al Whitaker, American Diabetes Association; 2) “Education ‘Dia-beasity’” by diabetes educator Corinne Hetzler, of Marlborough Hospital; 3) “Nutrition” by Barbara Casaceli, dietician, Marlborough Hospital; and 4) “Diabetes, the Disease” – David M. Harlan, MD, chief of diabetes division, UMass. Memorial Healthcare.
