The Westborough Historical Society will focus on 19th century “Hudson River School” landscape artists with a guest speaker from Fruitlands Museum, located in Harvard.  The program, which is free and open to the public, will take place Feb. 25, at 7 p.m., at the Westborough Public Library, 55 West Main St. This lecture is sponsored by the Westborough Civic Club. Featured speaker Sheila Simollardes attended the College of New Rochelle and Columbia University and spent quite a bit of time on the Hudson River.  At WGBH, she worked on many shows, including “Museum Open House.” She has spent many years in the picture gallery at Fruitlands Museum and has a special fondness for the Hudson River Painting style.
