As early as 7,000 B.C., prehistoric people were present in the area; Westborough is known as “The Hundredth Town” (and what that means); Westborough was once the home of the largest straw hat factory in the world. Come to the Westborough Historical Society’s Open House Nov. 25, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Sibley House, 13 Parkman St., and learn about the town’s history. Free and open to the public.
