Do you know these facts about Westborough? As early as 7,000 B.C., prehistoric people were present in the area; Westborough is known as “The Hundredth Town” (and what that means); and Westborough was once the home of the largest straw hat factory in the world. Come to the Westborough Historical Society’s March 24 open house from 2 to 4 p.m. and learn about the town’s history. The open house takes place at the Sibley House, 13 Parkman St., Westborough, and is free and open to the public.
