Westborough: Jennifer Graham author event

Tatnuck Bookseller, 18 Lyman St., Westborough, will host Jennifer Graham, author of “Honey, Do You Need a Ride?” Dec. 22, from 1 to 3 p.m. Jennifer Graham started running to lose weight, but 25 years later, she’s still a card-carrying endomorph “with a soft and thick body that looks like it was stuffed to order at Build-a-Bear.” But suddenly, that’s the least of her problems, when the mom of four finds herself unhappily single and marooned in New England, a thousand miles from family and friends. To cope, she signs up for a half-marathon and employs a long-dead coach, the spirit of the late great Steve Prefontaine. What transpires could be dementia … or joy. All are welcome to stop in and meet the author.
